AIAA Scholarship
Essay contest with a scholarship reward. The AIAA foundation awards scholarships to students who are part of science or engineering programs

Shell Oil Company Technical Scholarship. -To be eligible applicants must be high school seniors enrolling in engineering or geoscience programs.

Awards multi-year scholarships to financially-disadvantaged California students with documented learning disabilities who aspire to attend a community college.
 
For those who face tremendous adversity, demonstrate academic excellence and give back to their communities. It provides financial, academic and personal support needed to succeed in college and beyond – scholarship money, mentoring, internship referrals, leadership development and career guidance. 

Southern California Garden Club ScholarshipThe scholarships are available to three outstanding high school seniors or college students. To receive the scholarship, a student must be accepted and enrolled in a two or four-year college or university in a program focusing on Horticulture, Botany or a related 

Warner Bros. Entertainment Reach Program Scholarships + Full Time Paid Summer Internships
To be eligible applicants must be high school seniors and interested in a career in the entertainment business. Ex: finance, accounting, business administration and communications etc. 

LCareer Technical Education Scholarship. -To be eligible applicants must  be high school seniors, have a minimum 2.85 GPA, be planning to attend a Community College or vocational program, and demonstrated school or community service activities.

Aero Club of Southern California Scholarship -To be eligible applicants must be planning to pursue classroom studies in aviation or aerospace, full time students now and when scholarship will be used, and submit typewritten statement

Milken Scholars 
Scholarships for students who have academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, as well as school and community service. These students have also overcome social, economic, or other obstacles. (You need to be nominated via College Counselor) 

CAA Youth ScholarshipGrants for children of Law Enforcement and Fire Service Personnel.

Hamilton Scholars AwardAwards for high school juniors,  leadership training, community service trips, paid internships and funding for unpaid internships.
