STUDENT PASSWORD, WIFI AND SCHOOLOGY ACCESS INFORMATION

Password set up or password reset:

    1. Go to the following webiste: http://mylogin.lausd.net
    2. Click on student
    3. Click on activate or reset
    4. Scroll down.  Click on small box, lower left of screen and then click on accept.
    5. Then enter your LAUSD 10 digit student ID, birthdate (XX/XX/XXXX) and pin.  (All of your teachers can look up your PIN)  Put your PIN on your phone.
    6. Password screen:
 
      1. Your email address is printed on the left
      2. Your password must be 8 to 20 characters (numbers and letters).
      3. Enter it once in the upper box and a second time in lower box.
      4. If your password is accepted when see the check mark.
      5. Your password will last 6 months and then it will stop working.  You must reset it to a different password at that time.
 

Wifi Instructions

Iphone

  1. Open settings. Make sure wifi is on.
  2. Select LAUSD. (NOT LAUSD-GUEST!!!) 
  3. Enter your entire email address and password.
  4. You may receive a message that states do you trust this network.
  5. Click trust to download needed certificates.
  6. Once a check mark appears, you are connected to LAUSD wifi.
 

Android

  1. Open connections. Make sure wifi is on.
  2. Select LAUSD. (NOT LAUSD-GUEST!!!)
  3. Enter your entire email address in the identitiy line, scroll down a bit and enter password.
  4. You will see the words connecting appear until your phone is connected to the wifi. Once you receive connected, you are on the LAUSD wifi.
 

Schoology Instructions

Desktops

  1. Use any browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc.)
  2. Enter http://lms.lausd.net in the URL (at the top of the browser). (DO NOT GO TO SCHOOLOGY.COM!!!)
  3. The LAUSD district symbol will appear.
  4. Enter you entire email address and password.
  5. You will then be connected to Schoology.
 

Mobile Devices (ie Phones & Tablets)

  1. Download the Schoology app. Open the app.
  2. Under Log in through your School, in the search box, enter North Hollywood. DO NOT CHOOSE A MAGNET SCHOOL! 
  3. There are several North Hollywood High Schools. Scroll through the results until you find: North Hollywood Senior High - 8786. Select that item.
  4. The LAUSD district logo will appear. Click on Students
  5. Enter your email address and password. You will then be connected to Schoology.
