Welcome to the North Hollywood High School Library
The main room of the NHHS Library is closed for renovation. The library will re-open in the same space during the 2025-2026 school year with new furnishings, including major upgrades to the book collection and technology. This is part of a school-wide renovation involving all parts of campus. We regret losing access to our substantial book collection during this time; however, our teacher librarian will remain on campus supporting literacy and research from the media lab in room 002. The media lab will host class visits and small groups. Teachers should contact Mr. Hamrick by email [email protected] to plan research projects or lessons. Most of the same projects done in the past can be accommodated using digital media. Access to ebooks, audiobooks, databases, and internet resourses is possible using the 40+ desktop computer stations available in the media lab.
The first order of business for the media lab this year is to make sure that students know how to use their Los Angeles Public Library Student Success Card accounts. The LAPL has an abundance of resources available through their lapl.org website. Local LAPL branches and Young Adult Librarians are available and eager to help, both remotely and in person.
